b) Select the Team Resources document to open the document.

NOTE Because this is the first time a document has been opened with this account, a First things first dialog box might be displayed. If it is, select Use recommended settings and select Accept. If prompted for administrative credentials, select Cancel. If the Office configuration page opens, close it.

c) The document opens in Microsoft® Word and you receive the CHECK OUT REQUIRED warning.

NOTE Observe that the document opens and you get a CHECK OUT REQUIRED warning. The user is able to access and check out this sensitive document. This user should not be able to access this document at all.

d) Close Microsoft Word. If prompted to save the document, select Don't Save.

3) Log in as to set permissions. a) Minimize SharePoint, and open the Windows 8 Start page. Switch user accounts and login as . b) On the Start page, select the Desktop tile to switch to desktop mode. c) Maximize the Internet Explorer window.

NOTE Your browser should be on the Team Site Home page. If it is not, browse to http://sharepoint/sites/Teams/ .

4) Review permissions on Site Pages. a) In SharePoint, on the Team Site Home page, on the Quick Launch, select Site Contents to open the Site Contents page. b) On the Site Contents page, scroll down, if necessary, and select the Site Pages object to open it. c) On Site Pages, on the ribbon, select LIBRARY, and in the Settings group, select Library Settings. d) On the Site Pages→Settings page, in the Permissions and Management section, select Permissions for this Document library. e) Locate the Teams Members group on the list and verify the permission level granted to that group is Edit.
