ACTIVITY: R EVIEW N AVIGATION O PTIONS Before You Begin You should be logged into your Human Resources site.

If necessary, create a document library called Policies and Procedures and a calendar list called Events Schedule in your Human Resources site. Also create a subsite called Fall Conference . Scenario You want to ensure your team can easily access all lists, libraries, pages and other resources from your SharePoint sites. You wish to explore all navigation options to analyze how to streamline navigation in your sites. In this activity, you will review all navigation options. 1) Explore the Quick Launch a) In the Quick Launch, click Policies and Procedures . b) In the Quick Launch, click Home . c) In the Quick Launch, click Events Schedule .

2) Explore the Top Link Bar a) In the Top Link bar, click Human Resources . b) In the Top Link bar, click Fall Conference . c) Observe the different links in the Fall Conference’s Top Link Bar d) Click the browser’s Back button. 3) Explore Site contents a) In the Quick Launch, click Site contents . e) Observe the tiles for the different content structures f) Scroll down to Subsites and observe the Fall Conference link g) Scroll up as needed and click the Site Pages tile.

4) Explore the lists and libraries from the Site Settings a) Click the Settings button from the top-right b) Click Site settings . c) Under Site Administration , click Site libraries and lists .

d) Click Customize "Policies and Procedures" . e) Observe that it takes you to the Settings page.
