Lesson 2 – Merging Mailing Labels and Directories

After making changes, save the merged document as a separate document, or send the merged document to the printer and then close it without saving.  P ROCEDURES 1. Under Step 4 of 6 , select the Next: Preview your labels link. 2. After previewing the labels, under Step 5 of 6 , select the Next: Complete the merge link. 3. Under Merge , select the Edit individual labels link . 4. Select the records you want to merge to a new document.

1. Under Step 4 of 6 , select the Next: Preview your labels link. Step 5 of 6 appears in the Mail Merge

Click Next: Preview your labels

task pane. The formatted labels appear in the main document.

2. After previwing the labels, under Step 5 of 6 , select the Next: Complete the merge link. Step 6 of 6 appears in the Mail Merge task pane. 3. Under Merge , select the Edit individual labels link. The Merge to a New Document dialog box appears. 4. Select the records you want to merge to a new document. The records are selected.

The Merge to New Document dialog box closes, and the selected records are merged to a new document.

Scroll to view the labels. Then, close the merged labels document without saving it.
